30-Day Returns

We stand by the quality of our authentic African products. If you’re not completely satisfied, you have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return, provided that:

  • The item is unused and unopened, in its original packaging (with tags intact for apparel).
  • You include proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).
  • Items that are excluded (listed below) are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

To protect our artisans and community partners, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Perishables: African spices, fresh foods, or plants.
  • Custom Orders: Tailored clothing, handmade jewelry, or personalized items.
  • Personal Care: Shea butter, black soap, or beauty products (for hygiene reasons).
  • Specialty Goods: Handwoven baskets, ceremonial fabrics, or fragile art.
  • Sale Items: Clearance or discounted products.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free replacement or refund (including return shipping costs) once the issue is verified.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving your return.
  • It may take 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account (international payments may require additional time).
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Exchanges

If you require a different size or variant:

  1. Return the original item as per the process above.
  2. Once your return is approved, place a new order for the replacement item.
